Part-time Business Development Representative (20 hours per week) – CT 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Secure and cultivate Drexel eLearning’s health system, corporate, education, and association partner accounts with 5,000+ employees or members in Fairfield, CT area.

Develop and execute partner cultivation strategies within assigned territory.

Interface with senior level decision makers within assigned partners to increase account penetration to generate enrollments.

Deliver sales presentations to decision makers as well as employees within assigned customer base.

Coordinate visits and marketing activity to assigned partners monthly.

Build and maintain external client relationships.

Act as corporate liaison between assigned partners and Drexel e-Learning, Inc. (DeL).

Attend annual meetings, trade shows, conferences and on-site client visits to increase brand awareness within partner accounts.

Uncover and identify new business opportunities for partner educational initiatives.

Develop enrollment forecasts quarterly for assigned partner accounts.

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least five years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels within the organization.
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills, with the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Spreadsheet, Word Processing and Presentation software (i.e., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Candidate needs to be proactive, have strong initiative and the ability to work autonomously from their home office.
  • Must have reliable transportation and live in the Fairfield, CT area.
  • Duties will be conducted during normal business hours, some evening events may be required.
