Arthur Zamkoff, President and CEO
Mr. Zamkoff is a seasoned entrepreneur who brings over 30 years of senior executive skills and experience to DeL. He has a successful track record of maximizing shareholder value. Prior to joining the company, he worked as President of Knowledge Products (a subsidiary of Global Knowledge Network). GKN is the world's largest information technology education company. Prior to joining GKN, he worked as President of Assessment Systems, Inc. (ASI), a licensing support company for state regulatory agencies. Previous to ASI, he was Senior Vice President of Business Development for cellular products at EDS/APPEX in Europe. Art was also Executive Vice President of Operations for the Health Data Institute. He received further software and management experience as Executive Vice President of Computer Software and Services for Noble Lowndes International and as vice president and chief information officer for Johnson & Higgins. Art began his career at Shell Oil Company. He holds a BS in Statistics from Baruch College in New York.
Kenneth Hartman, Academic Director
Dr. Hartman is an internationally renowned educator, having served the past 26-years as a university professor, academic administrator, and consultant at several leading universities, including The University of Pennsylvania, The University of Delaware, New York Institute of Technology, and Drexel University. He is the author of numerous publications related to educational technology (books, articles, CD-ROMs), and formerly a syndicated newspaper columnist, television talk show host, and commissioned military officer. He can also be seen regularly on NBC10 (Philadelphia), as the station's on-air technology contributor.
Recent awards and honors include: the 2006 Partners in Education Award from the Pennsylvania Association for College Admission Counseling, the 2006 Drexel School of Education’s Faculty Fellow and Associate Award, the 2007 Penn Educator of the Year Award from The University of Pennsylvania, and the 2008 Leadership in Distance Learning Program Administration Award from the United States Distance Learning Association.
Dr. Hartman holds an undergraduate degree from The State University of New York at Geneseo, a master's degree from Michigan State University, and a doctorate degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
Eric Hagan, Senior Program Director
Eric Hagan is responsible for customer relationship management, contract management, and program implementations. Eric's approach is to begin by working with each customer organization to develop a thorough understanding of its needs. Armed with this understanding, Eric brings DeL's contracts to life in such a way that DeL's customer relationships profitably grow and deepen over time. Before joining DeL, he held senior customer relationship management positions in the assessment industry with Educational Testing Service, Assessment Systems, Inc., and Computer Adaptive Technologies. Eric holds a bachelor of science in economics from the University of Delaware and an MBA from Wilmington College.
Jack Mayher, Director of Operations
Previously, Jack Mayher was Senior Director of Content Technology at Work.com, a joint venture of Dow Jones and Excite@Home. Jack joined the Work.com joint venture from Dow Jones & Co. where he was executive producer of dowjones.com, a free business information portal developed by The Wall Street Journal Interactive Edition. Prior to joining Dow Jones, he was Director of Internet Development for ZDNet where he directed application and database development, content production and infrastructure of computershopper.com. Jack began his career in sales for Zagat Survey. He holds a bachelor of arts degree in history from Williams College.
Wendy Wiesmiller, Senior Program Director
Wendy Wiesmiller comes to Drexel e-Learning with more than 20 years of senior management and executive experience with a leading provider of computer based testing. Her primary responsibilities include driving client relations and providing excellent customer service. Through the use of her creative problem solving and communication skills, she has a proven track record of outstanding positive outcomes for her customer base. Wendy is responsible for program implementations, customer relationships and contract management. She has a B.S. degree in Management from Rosemont College.
Todd Lucca, Director of Business Development
Todd is a hands-on executive with proven entrepreneurial skills, bringing over ten years of sales and management experience to Drexel e-Learning. He began his sales career in the telecommunications industry and has since played a major role in establishing several solution oriented sales teams for area software corporations. His responsibilities at Drexel e-Learning include establishing corporate partnerships, implementing contract education opportunities, and increasing public awareness of Drexel’s e-Learning capabilities. Todd earned his Bachelor degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and holds a Master of Business Administration from the Graduate School of Management at Boston University.
Michael Schwartzman, Director of Marketing
Mike Schwartzman heads up the marketing team for Drexel e-Learning. He has over 20 years of strategic consumer marketing, advertising, interactive, promotion and account management experience building great consumer brands across dozens of categories. He is a classically trained consumer packaged goods marketer experienced in leading brand teams for top global marketers including Warner-Lambert, Unilever, and the Danone Group, where he was Vice President of Marketing. He has delivered profitable growth on blue chip brands including Ragu, Certs, Dentyne and Lea & Perrins. Mike's background also includes advertising account management where he worked on a wide range of businesses spanning higher education, consumer products, food, B2B, new business development and more.
He has served as an Adjunct Professor teaching Strategic Brand Management and Advertising and Promotion Management to undergraduates. Mike holds an MBA degree from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia and a B.S. in Business-Economics from the State University of New York at Oneonta.
