Admissions Criteria

This program consists of 12 quarter credits. Admission to this certificate program requires:

  • A four-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in the United States or an equivalent international institution.
  • Complete graduate school application.
  • Previous relevant coursework in the sciences (preferably human physiology and biochemistry) and/or relevant work experience.
  • Transcripts from all universities or colleges attended (official transcripts preferred).

Instead of hard copy transcripts, you may supply official electronic transcripts issued by a post-secondary institution directly to Drexel University Online (use our email address, customerservice@drexel.com).  
  • A current resume.

Please note all submitted materials become the property of Drexel University.

To apply the credits earned from the Certificate in Toxicology & Industrial Hygiene to Drexel’s on-campus Master of Science Degree in Biological Sciences or Master of Science Degree in Environmental Science, you may do so after being accepted into those graduate programs.
