Admissions Criteria
Admission to this program requires:
- Complete application form.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in the US or an equivalent international institution.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0*
- Official transcripts from all universities or colleges and other post-secondary educational institutions (including trade schools) attended or where coursework was attempted or taken. If you do not list all post-secondary institutions on your application and these are listed on transcripts received from other institutions, processing of your application will be delayed until you have submitted the remaining transcripts. - Miller Analogies Test (MAT) scores (please use school code number 2689)**
The Miller Analogies Test (MAT) is required for application to the CROM program. However, the MAT requirement is waived for applicants who acquired US terminal degrees (e.g. PhD, MD, DO, JD, etc) or are ECFMG certified. Candidates who received their terminal degree outside the US and are not ECFMG certified are required to:
- Take the MAT and submit an official score report for application; take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), if degree was acquired in a country where English is not the first language; and
- Contact World Evaluation Services (WES) for all transcripts to be translated and submitted for application. Their website is www.wes.org.
GRE, GMAT, or MCAT scores may be accepted in place of the MAT if an official score report is provided by the testing body.
- Current Resume.
- A Self-Assessment Essay to include:
- Discuss personal goals, conditions, or career aspirations that motivate you to pursue graduate study at Drexel University College of Medicine.
- Describe your most important accomplishments.
- Discuss what you expect to achieve through this program.

*Applications with a GPA under 3.0 but greater than 2.75 will be reviewed by the Program Director on an individual basis. Students with strong work experience are encouraged to apply.

NOTE: You must submit a hard copy via mail (no scanned or faxed copies will be accepted). Scores should be received by the application deadline for the term in which you are applying.
